Web Scheduler
Cryotome:
In order to log in to the Cryotome Scheduler, you will need a password. In order to obtain a password the following steps must be taken:
1. Contact Fred Strathmann (3-2407) to arrange a training session (~ 30 minutes). You should be prepared to cut a practice block of OCT during this time provided by the trainer.
2. Prior to the training session, read all highlighted sections of the manual. The manual can be found in the top drawer of the cabinet behind the Cryotome.
4. Once you have been adequately trained, you will be given full privileges to the Cryotome, including a password to access the Cryotome Scheduler. For your first cutting session, it is highly recommended that users arrange a quick refresher with Fred immediately before the start.
5. The key to the Cryotome can be found in a lockbox in room 2.9843.
6. Anyone wishing to use the Cryotome MUST sign-in and book time via the Webscheduler.
7. Blades, OCT, and cryofreeze are NOT provided and must be obtained for use by each laboratory.
NOTE: Failure to comply with any of the established guidelines will result in removal of Cryotome privileges

Microscopes:
You must be properly trained in order to book time and use the microscopes located in 2.9852B. Please contact Fred Strathmann to arrange a training time and to obtain a password for the online scheduler.
